Deadline Day - don't miss out!
The time is now...
Well…one of my deadlines this week anyway.
at 11:59 PM BST today, my special offer to get this 5 star rated course here where I show you how to get your LinkedIn following to 50k+ expires.
The £100 token that gets you the course for FREE will be will no longer be available beyond midnight tonight (well 23:59 to be precise because I’m weird like that with numbers).
But anyone who signs up to be an annual VIP paid subscriber before that time will get the code to unlock the 80min self paced course (as well as all the other benefits of being a paid subscriber).
I just want to tell you too, that without question, mastering soft skills has been one of the biggest keys to my success in delivering Procurement transformation across several organisations.
My personal interest in Emotional Intelligence, complimented by 1000s of hours of reading and then putting theory into practice, has been the absolute game changer.
It’s not only how I’ve been able to deliver outstanding results within all the businesses I’ve worked for, it’s how I’ve been able to consistently convert difficult stakeholders into passionate Procurement advocates (I’ve barely seen any non-compliance in the past 2 years in my current role).
That said, I know how challenging it can be to not only deal with problematic stakeholders as well as suppliers, but to actually engage with them effectively in the first place.
On top of that, I don’t want any of you to have to work through some of the more challenging mental health pressures I faced in the early days of delivering Procurement, to just barely hit your objectives.
Instead, I believe Procurement Soft Skills Mastery should enable you to put your best foot forward no matter what stage of your Procurement career you are at, and more than that…to enjoy the role so much that you look forward to Monday! Yes, that’s right!
I also believe you don’t need to be overly technically skilled or experienced to be successful in Procurement (sure it helps); that if you ask the right questions, employ the right business partnering approach and deliver in the right way, then stakeholders and external suppliers will start coming to you for more no matter what stage you are at in your career.
That’s why after many (many) requests, I’m launching a new pilot program Procurement Soft Skills Mastery where I plan to help a small group of Procurement people to master the skills required to fast track their career.
I’ve had some incredible testimonials over the past few years:
“I will get the procurement aspects out of the way first. Tom clearly knows his subject inside out and this brings direct and tangible benefits to businesses. He came into an organisation that needed guidance around procurement and immediately began to deliver by working out what worked and pulling, pushing, nudging, cajoling, influencing to make improvements. And he did all this in a constructive helpful way. Both within and outside the procurement discipline, Tom demonstrates soft skills a-plenty. I fondly remember him chairing a ‘herding cats’ style meeting, remotely, never losing his temper, keeping things on track, untwisting gnarly points and taking us to a good conclusion. No mean feat! A strong communicator and influencer, Tom brings positivity, pragmatism and good sense to all interactions whether procurement-related or not” - Tom King, Head of Cyber Security
and John’s…
“Tom is a passionate and inspirational leader. During our time working together at Nisbets, Tom not only shaped the procurement strategy of the business but also developed the Buying team within our roles. Personally I have taken away a wealth of negotiation techniques, and leadership skills from our time working together” - John Macmillan, Senior Purchasing Specialist.
These testimonials are just the start, and I can’t wait to help other Procurement pros via my Founders round Procurement Soft Skills Mastery which is about to kick off Thursday 7th May 2024.
Enrollment closes Friday (May 3rd) at 11:59 PM BST, or when all spots sell out. And you don’t need to be available for all or any of the live workshops as students will get exclusive access to all live recordings and materials so they can access any parts of the course either live or in their own time.
Please don’t hesitate to hit reply if I can personally answer any questions or help you make a decision.
