Yeah it got lost alright.

It got lost the very first time you spammed me with an unsolicited sales pitch to my personal e-mail account.

In fact it got so lost, I forgot it was even lost.

It got lost within 0.03 seconds of me clicking open and you had asked me to click a calendly invite to book a call - this week.

Yeah…

this week!

“When would work best for you this week for a quick chat?” about nothing I’ve ever remotely expressed an interest in chatting about.

How about 11pm on the 12th of never? Does that work for you?

Stop with the shitty sales pitches.

Seriously who teaches these things? Sales Development Representatives - I want to know, is there a manual that teaches this kind of shithousery?

Has this ever worked?

I, for one, have never…

  • responded to an unsolicited sales pitch like this

  • been happy when someone has resurfaced an e-mail to the top of my inbox (who even does that shit)

  • been pleased when someone has sent me a business sales pitch to my personal e-mail address (the gmail part is quite a giveaway you know)

  • been okay with someone presuming I’m going to ‘jump on a call’ this week. In fact, I’ve never ever JUMPED on a call. I’m the most reluctant phone call taker there is. I’m even suspicious when my own wife calls me.

I’m busy. If I’m not dealing with Corporate Colin at work, I’m out for a run.

If I’m not out for a run, I’m thinking about going for a run.

If I’m not thinking about going for a run, I’m checking my strava stats from my last run.

You get the picture.

Sales people of the world.

Unite and don’t take over….(The Smiths reference for anyone who gets it).

Until you’ve learned the basic meaning of the word.
